How to watermark an image without uploading it

  1. Choose a PNG or JPEG image within the stated limits.
  2. Enter your mark and adjust its position and opacity. Check the preview.
  3. Download a PNG or JPEG copy. Your original stays unchanged.
Does this mark prevent AI use?

No. It is a visible notice that can be cropped or removed. It does not block training, copying or photography and does not prove authorship.

What happens to transparency and metadata?

PNG preserves transparency; JPEG exports on a white background. The copy preserves the image’s orientation but not its original metadata, such as GPS or camera information.

Is the copy registered?

No. A mark changes the bytes. For public verification, register the final downloaded copy separately.
