Maximum 50 MiB per file, 100 files and 250 MiB in total.

Folder selection depends on your browser. You can also select several files.

The manifest contains names/paths, sizes and SHA-256 hashes. Review it before sharing: it may reveal private names. It is unsigned, unregistered and editable; only compare with a trusted reference. It does not certify authorship or time. The root folder is omitted and the internal structure must be the same when checking.

Up to 100 files, 50 MiB per file and 250 MiB combined. JSON manifests up to 256 KiB.

How to check the contents of a folder

  1. Select a folder or several files. Fingerprints are calculated sequentially.
  2. Download the JSON manifest and keep it as an independent reference.
  3. Later, select the manifest and files to find matches, changes, missing files and files not in the manifest.
Are subfolders and names included?

Folder selection preserves internal paths but omits the root folder’s name. With individual files, only filenames are known. Comparison is case-sensitive.

Is a manifest a signature or backup?

No. It stores paths, sizes and fingerprints, not file contents. It is unsigned and can be edited. Keep a trusted reference through another channel; a manifest does not replace a backup.

What information is private?

Names and paths may reveal project information. They are not sent to a server, but appear in your downloaded JSON. Review before sharing. Select at least one file to compare; an empty selection cannot be checked.

Only need to check one file?

Calculate its fingerprint or check it against a SHA-256 reference.
